Maiden Biosciences Topical Collagen Powder Wound Dressings are absorbent type 1 microfibular collagen pellets indicated for the management of moderate to heavily exuding acute and chronic wounds. The collagen powder dressings serve as a wound filler that is applied directly onto the wound to absorb excess exudate and exudate components that may impair tissue regeneration. The dressing forms a gel on contact with the wound surface to control minor bleeding while maintaining a moist, physiologically favorable wound environment that encourages wound healing. The dressings consist of off-white loose collagen powder pellets packaged in convenient sterilized single-use 1-gram easy-to-peel open packets.
